FAQs

Do I get to take my dress home with me?

Yes, all of our Bourne Ready dresses are sold from stock, so if you do not want to wait months for your perfect gown you can take it the same day. Payment must be made in full, and a dress bag is available for you to take home in.

All dresses ordered in can be collected once they have arrived in store and the full balance has been paid..  Alternatively, we can keep you gown until alterations at a cost of £50 per dress.  if your event is cancelled, collection must be made by the original event date.

Can I think about it before saying yes?

Of course. It is a big commitment to buy your dream gown, and it is important to remember that this is your wedding dress.  With our Bourne Ready dresses we only have one of each dress and cannot hold it back.  We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, so please make sure it is your dream dress.

Payment for Bourne Ready dresses must be in full at the time of purchase. Ordered in dresses/bespoke dresses require a down payment of 50% and the final amount when the dress arrives or is made. Payment must be made within 14 days of the dress arriving in store.

Do you do alterations?

Hannah B Alterations are an independent company based within our premises. Their services are available Tuesday to Thursday, 10am til 2pm. 

They request you bring only one person with you to your appointment.

Can I order a dress in my size?

Our Bourne Ready collection

are sold from stock. We do not offer a reorder service.

Our Bourne Beautiful collection are reorderable. A 50% deposit is required to order your dress, and the balance is due 14 days after your dress arrives. Dresses can take from 4 months to 10 months.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, we are by appointment only. Please ensure you book before you come to us.

How many people can I bring with me?

We do not mind how many guests you bring along but please remember, too many opinions can confuse brides.

How much are your gowns?

Our gowns start at £600- £2500. It is helpful for us and the bride if we know the budget before the appointment.  This way we can continue to ensure we have an amazing choice to offer at every appointment.

Do you offer refunds/exchanges?

We do not offer exchanges or refunds under any circumstances. It is up to the purchaser to check the goods before any payment is made. Weddings cancelled or postponed for any reason will not be offered a refund, and we are unable to sell the gown on behalf of the purchaser.

Do you store dresses?

Due to Covid-19 and the rising cost of insurance, we have to charge £50 per dress stored with us.
